Rivers; Every Moment is a Fresh Beginning says --NDADN.


The Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network, NDADN, has Congratulated the Executive Governor of Rivers State H.E.Similaya Fubara on the landslide victory for the just concluded Saturday local government election held in rivers state.


The NDADN, in a statement jointly signed during their stakeholder's general meeting held in the Warri Delta state, said that the election is credible and highly welcome 



Speaking on the development, The NDADN body expresses confidence that the way and manner in which the governor conducted the local government election so far in the state will give credit to good governance and all-round developmental strides across the state 


Recall that, rivers state in recent times, what the people witnessed is a conflict of bloated that doesn't help matters, and the economy shrinking yet our so-called political wings and political acolytes don't give room for peace to continue to increase unthinkable bureaucracy, this is antithetical to commonsensical 


Inadvertently, we under NDADN"; strongly condemn the frivolous act cried out by people who allow themselves to be used as political arsonists and blindly disturb the peace of our good people of rivers StateThe primary functions of government is the protection of life and sustainability". Outside this pact is non and void and it cannot be proven in our constitution 1999. as amended.


We equally affirm that democracy is beyond personal interest, rather an obligation and we will not fold our hands by taking crap, especially when the clear waters of justice have been muddled


 Grass-root politics is pertinent, and essential and serves as the elementary stage of inclusive governance, said: "It's time for a compassionate leadership, it's time to end the suffering of our people, it's time to run a participatory democracy, and it's time to set aside partisan politics and join hands to make the oil-rich state called rivers state great again".




Going by the facts, a local government election is an election that stands to substitute leadership at the local level. It is one of the tenets of 21st-century Democracy in a civilized country like Nigeria. 


The statement added that people must take the bull by the horns, the umbrella body NDADN however, called on concerns stakeholders and the president of federal Republic of Nigeria,president ,Bola Ahmed Tinubu led federal government to correct the wrongs as fast as possible by obeying the rule of law.

For record of facts,then our head of state, "General Yakubu Gowon became military head in Nigeria States when he was at just age 31 in 1966", while not allowing the peace lover and seasoned economist to perform his fundamental rights has God Almighty giving time. Use your head, youths of rivers state.


On this note, All these anomalyse need to be addressed holistically, we encourage every discerning mind, particularly the youths in the state to work towards the state to remain calm and maintain Peace as they continue.


The Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network, therefore commended the electorates ,INEC and security agencies for a job well done however expresses optimism for more improvement.
