THIS IS MY LESSON AND MESSAGE TO RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT

Yesterday, we faced a turbulence weather in the air, there was fear on every faces in the aircraft. I comforted a young man seated by my side that nothing will happen. 


The pilot announced that, there was nothing to fear, that he was going to maneuver through the strom. He actually applied his professional skill and we landed safely. 


As we landed every passengers wanted to see the pilot and appreciate him, but it wasn't allowed. My friend (A Pilot) called me and told me other aircraft couldn't take up when they announced the bad weather, but we were already in the Air.


This Is My Lesson And Message To Rivers State Government:


1. The Pilot used his professional skill to navigate the aircraft through the turbulence weather. I want the Leadership of Rivers State Government to navigate Rivers State out of this political crisis without further damage.


2. Every Leader must demonstrate the capacity to manage, negotiate and demonstrate wisdom in time of crisis 3 


3. We are in a society were 80% of the citizens celebrate injustice even when they are suffering, at this time we have to be careful.


4. You can not adopt a political party few days to an election and declared the party winner in all the LGAs, ignoring other political parties that went through the process, we must be careful how we managed our democracy. The Leadership crisis is inflicting pains on the citizens, why others are benefiting from the crisis.


5. Rivers State is loosing Global reputation. Arriving for our one day meeting after 4hrs flight, I was confronted by International Journalists with all kinds of negative news about Rivers State, not even Nigeria. 


My application for the World African Tourism summit to be hosted in Rivers State was rejected because of fear of insecurities, everybody seems to promote the crisis. 


Nobody to talk to, investors in their several meetings have declared Rivers State a no go area. I know many will criticize me, but like I earlier said, the truth is bitter.
