I Congratulate the Internet Society (ISOC) Nigerian Chapter on the forthcoming launch of the Smart Africa Youth Chapter in Nigeria and I am particularly proud of the Nigerian Youth Internet Governance Forum (NYIGF), for initiating the Smart Africa Youth Chapter – Nigeria.
The official virtual launch of the Smart Africa Youth Chapter in Nigeria is slated for Wednesday, 6th November at 12:00 PM (WAT).
This is a commendable initiative focused on collaboration and youth leadership in shaping Nigeria's digital future and protecting digital rights. Events like these are crucial for fostering an inclusive and safe online environment through multi-stakeholder dialogue and co-creation of policy.
I am thrilled that ISOC Nigerian Chapter is a major driving force behind a continental network of young changemakers driving Africa’s digital transformation, digital safety and net neutrality.
This is an important moment to connect, learn, and lead the future of a Smart Africa.
Kudos to the Nigeria Youth Internet Governance Forum (NYIGF) for convening a platform that brings experts, policymakers, and innovators under one roof to co-create the future of digital rights in Nigeria! It's fantastic to see young leaders taking the reins in shaping the country's digital landscape. This forum is a great example of how collaborative efforts can drive meaningful change and ensure a safer, more inclusive online space for all Nigerians.
