THE UNDERDEVELOPMENT OF BURUTU AND THE NEW COVENS IN POLITICAL WITCHCRAFTCY.
" _They cannot influence or facilitate tangible projects to our localities, State Law-makers enriching themselves with the monies made for constituency projects, awarding projects to their owned companies, no constituency briefing, no effort to complete the abandoned projects (Ayakoromor bridge, Ogulagha - Odimodi road, Torugbene - Ojobo road etc), fighting themselves upstairs for self-aggrandizement"_ -- Aggrieved Political Youths Of Burutu.
When the righteous bear rule, the people will rejoice. You cannot pray for a demon in power. Your prayers may not avail much. You can only pray for leaders who have the fear of God in their dealings.
A righteous and people oriented leadership must bear rule for good things to happen in Burutu. There are no two ways about it. The people of Burutu are laboring under the leadership they created and impose on themselves and must bear the repercussions that come with such choices.
But the youths as agents of change has the sole role and responsibility to retire and chase away the wicked and unproductive political class eating and looting the development of Burutu without shame and remorse.
I am happy that my efforts at enthroning a culture of service driven leadership is not in vain. Whether in PDP, APC or SDP, the youths must drive the Burutu Agenda as agents of change and construction. We must break off from amassing wealth at the expense of community development. Politics is about development and we must learn to play politics of development.
We must fight this darkness in our land. It is wrong to equate the growth of a particular political leader to the growth and development of the community. It is backward and retrogressive. The growth and development of the community qualifies and embody the contribution of the political leader.
As a Burutu leader, what will be remembered for?
