NDNAF REAFFIRMS SUPPORT FOR PAP ADMINISTRATOR; PASSES VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON DENNIS OTUARO, FROWNS AGAINST DISTRACTIVE ACTIONS OF DETRACTORS

The leadership of the Niger Delta Nonviolence Agitators Forum (NDNAF) has reaffirmed it's unwavering support for High Chief Dennis Brutu Otuaro Ph.D, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP). 

Comrade Wisdom Oniekpar Ikuli, National President of NDNAF made the above position known yesterday being Tuesday 24th September, 2024 during an interaction session with a cross-session of media in Abuja. 

Ikuli hinted that Otuaro since assumption of duty has reformed, transformed and repositioned PAP in line with the spirit behind its establishment. He said that beside prompt payment of monthly Stipends to the Ex-Combatants and Agitators, that the Administrator has revived training programmes ensuring that those who have not had any training are prioritized. 

He also talked about the standardization of the quality of training citing the case of young people who are undergoing special trainings as commercial pilots and other areas that will make the beneficiaries self-reliant in the absence of white-collar jobs. 

NDNAF commended and appreciated High Chief Dennis Otuaro for prioritizing the educational scheme and components of PAP that have subsequently given opportunities to many indigent young people to access and acquire quality trainings and education. 

Ikuli also pointed to the several engagements and interactions between the PAP boss and critical stakeholders including traditional rulers, veterans of the contemporary Niger Delta struggle, religious and political leaders that is helping in no small measure in sustaining the prevalent peace, security and stability in the Niger Delta region. 

The leadership of NDNAF before passing a Vote of Confidence on High Chief Dennis Otuaro Ph.D, used the medium to warn distractors who are envious of the positive activities and remarkable achievements of the PAP boss to desist from their distractive and retrogressive acts forthwith.
