JUNE 29TH 2025: THE SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY — SDP DELTA STATE RESOLUTION.

STATEMENT:

We, the members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Delta State, under the leadership of the State Party Chairman, Barr. Philip Adu-Odogwu, convened on this day 29th of June 2025 to reaffirm our commitment to the core principles of the Social Democratic Party and to pledge our unwavering dedication to the progress and development of Delta State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The motion for this resolution was moved by the State Financial Secretary,  Mr. Justine Ngadaonye and seconded by Pst. Osiki-Nyusi A.E. — Ughelli South Chairman, Delta State.

The SDP Delta State is dedicated to championing socio-democratic reforms. This includes advocating for policies that promote social justice, economic equality, and equitable access to opportunities for all citizens of Delta State and Nigeria. We believe in a society where the government actively works to reduce inequality and improve the living standards of its people.

We pledge to uphold the Constitution of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in its entirety. We are committed to operating within the framework of the party's constitution and ensuring that all our actions are guided by its principles. We believe in the importance of internal party democracy and transparency.

The SDP Delta State affirms its unwavering loyalty to the national leadership of our party, led by our esteemed National Chairman, His Excellency, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam. We recognize and respect the authority of the national leadership and will work in close collaboration with them to achieve the party's goals and objectives at the national level towards the 2027 general elections.

RESOLUTION:

Therefore, be it resolved that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Delta State:

1. Vows to remain resolute in the pursuit of socio-democratic reforms in Delta State and Nigeria, working tirelessly to improve the lives of our citizens.

2. Pledges to uphold the constitution of the SDP and to adhere strictly to its provisions in all our activities.

3. Reaffirms its unwavering loyalty to the party's national leadership, led by the National Chairman, His Excellency, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, and pledges to support their efforts to strengthen and advance the SDP nationwide.
